June BJP Page Done

Here's my June page. I wanted to see what would happen if I incorporated some stone beads, and the jade donut and kyanite blade-shaped beads came to hand. This is about some of my feelings about early Summer, when the weather is getting very warm and there is still a lot of growth and energy as some plants are blooming and some begin to show fruits that start to ripen. Everything feels so alive!

This is an amazingly beautiful piece done in a color scheme I don't think I would thought to put together. I absolutely love it!! Very cheerful and summery. The green was the perfect popper!!

Hope you are well and life is on a more even path for you.
Regards,
Carol

Lois, this is truly GORGEOUS! and speaks to all those things you mentioned in a big, abundant way!!

I love incorporating stone beads, too ~ they add an element of strength to a piece, I think...

I agree with everyone else - this is a gorgeous piece! I love the colors and the movement, and especially how you used the large, stone beads to create the flower. Great stuff!! A definitely feast for the eyes.

Wow! I'm overwhelmed! Thank you for so many wonderful and kind comments! Carol, thank you, and yes, my life is more balanced just now. Barbara, thank you! I can't take credit, though, the beads showed me how to do that. Lisa, you're too kind. I'm glad you liked my colors. It's All about Creating, thanks! Periwinkle is one of my favorites, too, and I loved using it. Sweatpea, this is the first time I've incorporated so many stones, and it was a pleasure to work with them. Carol Creech, thank you! It was a different direction for me, and I really liked working on it.

Thank you Robin and beadbabe49! I'm glad I was able to convey the life and liveliness I felt when I was working on this. And Robin, coming from you that is an extraordinary compliment! I'm just beading away day by day when the opportunity presents itself, and I like to think I gain more skill as I go. I'm certainly enjoying the journey.
